Une vingtaine de sociétés savantes européennes au sens large (elles incluent, en particulier, l’Académie des Sciences Agricoles de Russie) ont décidé de se constituer en « union d’Académies », de manière à poursuivre dans un cadre élargi leurs activités traditionnelles au niveau national. Après deux réunions préparatoires, à l’initiative de « l’Academia dei Georgofili », l’une à Bologne il y a environ un an, l’autre, six mois plus tard, à Florence, cette réunion avait pour objet principal la cérémonie de constitution officielle de l’association, créée sous le régime ad hoc du droit italien, et enregistrée par un notaire………
