We don’t know what cars they will drive, if they drive cars at all.
We don’t know to what music the people will listen, if they listen to music at all.
But one thing we know for sure. Even in 250 years time people will have to eat and agriculture is very likely to be as important as it is now and as it was 250 years ago.
I would like to end with a quote by the Harvard anthropologist Timothy Weiskel:

Une vingtaine de sociétés savantes européennes au sens large (elles incluent, en particulier, l’Académie des Sciences Agricoles de Russie) ont décidé de se constituer en « union d’Académies », de manière à poursuivre dans un cadre élargi leurs activités traditionnelles au niveau national. Après deux réunions préparatoires, à l’initiative de « l’Academia dei Georgofili », l’une à Bologne il y a environ un an, l’autre, six mois plus tard, à Florence, cette réunion avait pour objet principal la cérémonie de constitution officielle de l’association, créée sous le régime ad hoc du droit italien, et enregistrée par un notaire………
